The annual Chokka Trail Run will take place on Sunday 6 August 2023 with the start and finish at the host venue, the Cape St Francis Resort.

All the races (62km, 43km, 23km and 10km) will take place on Sunday 6 August. Prize giving for the 10km and 23km will be at 10h30 and for the 42km and 62km at 12h30.

Late registration and number collection will be on Saturday 5 August between 15h00 and 17h00 at the Cape St Francis Resort.

Race details

62km: Race briefing is at 06h45 and the race starts at 07h00.
42km: Late registration from 06h30 – 06h45, race briefing at 07h00 and the race starts at 07h15.
23km: Late registration from 06h45 – 07h15, race briefing at 7h15 and the race starts at 07h30.
10km: Late registration from 07h15 – 07h45, race briefing at 07h45 and the race starts at 08h00.

Entry fees

62km: R1 300 which includes a race shirt (until 30/06/2021) and tracker, R1 350 after 30 June.
42km: R1000 which includes a race shirt (until 30/06/2021) and tracker, R1050 after 30 June.
23km: R280 which includes a race buff (until 30/06/2021), R330 after 30 June.
10km: R180 which includes a race buff (until 30/06/2021), R230 after 30 June.

Only entries paid by 30 June 2023 will qualify for the free shirt/buff.

Additional race shirts and buffs can be ordered until 30 June 2023 at R350 per shirt, and R80 per buff. Please note a late registration fee of R100 per entry will be charged at the venue.

Beneficiary

The beneficiary of the Bestmed Chokka Trail Run is the Beach Clean-up Project. The race is organised by St Francis Sport and hosted by the Cape St Francis Resort with internet support by TCS St Francis Bay.
