The 2022 edition of the Chokka Trail Run had an element we had been waiting for since the inaugural run 6 years ago – a strong easterly! The windy conditions made it very difficult for all participants on the last stretch from Mostertshoek (or the turn around point for the 10km runners), but played a big roll for the 42km and 62km runners in the dunefields! One for the memory books!
